NiksNaks Hab Strap

This is a plate that fixes with 2 heavy duty suction cups to your van, with a strong bungee cord and non-scratch plastic hook to hold your door open - when not in use the cord can be wound around the plate and held in the slots as shown.

The plate is precision laser cut from chunky 5mm / 3/8" thick acrylic, with 2 slots to hold the cord when it's not attached to the door, stop it knocking against the side of your van.  The cord is heavy duty and can be shortened easily if required.  Unlike the steel wire hooks found on most bungees, our plastic one is designed not to scratch your van and can be hooked onto something or back onto itself

The suction cups are the very best on the market - American made, thick heavy duty cups that will not go yellow in the sun and split like the multitude of cheap Chinese suction cups on the market.  We've sold these for many years for use with silver screens and awning panels, we know they are the best, but not the cheapest!  As always with suction cups do not stick them on top of decals or vinyl wrap on your van.

The suction cups are each rated by the manufacturer to hold 3.2kg (7lbs) - meaning our plate will take 14 lbs of force before it parts company with your van.  But - we did our own tests and found it took just over 40 lbs of force before our plate would come off a smooth surface.  The cups have a tag on the edge to enable you to break the suction and easily release them when you want to leave.
