2 x Motorhome High Pressure Metal Tyre Valves Bolt

The standard rubber car tyre valves that your local tyre centre uses by the 1000 are not suitable for most motorhomes, as even the top brands are only rated to 65 psi.  It's scary how many tyre places will still fit them though!

So why do we offer these particular ones?  Several reasons:-

• They easily cope with motorhome tyre pressures

• The long collar suits nearly all alloy & all steel wheels

• The collar has both a metal and a nylon washer under it to protect your alloys finish - many cheap valves don't have this, as it's tightened it can break the lacquer on the wheel and introduce corrosion

• The rubber washer to seal the valve against the wheel is a "top hat" shape - gives a better seal than the flat washers used on many other valves

• Although I've never had a problem with these particular valves, it's not unknown for metal dust caps to seize onto valve stems in winter - so unlike other sellers I include some extra plastic dust caps with your order as well, which you may wish to use instead.  You'll still receive the metal caps.
